Your body already knows how to survive a crisis. When a shock hits, it starves the fingertips to keep blood flowing to the heart, the lungs, the brain. It doesn't debate the decision. It already made it, long before the shock arrived.
Most companies haven't. In this piece for Les Echos, we make the case that resilience starts with one honest answer: what is your Minimum Vital Company, the hard core that has to stay standing when everything else gives way? Not everything is vital. Not everything is even important. Some things can simply wait. Knowing which is which, in advance, is the difference between an organization that survives a crisis and one that discovers, mid-crisis, that it never decided.
No company is exempt. Not the large ones, not the public sector, not the SME down the street. The question was never if. It's how you react when it happens.
